LEVEL 2 = SCAN – MASK – 2M DISTANCE BETWEEN STAFF, PLAYERS AND VISITORS ON THE GOLF COURSE, AND THROUGHOUT ALL CLUB FACILITIES. I have put a copy of todays guidelines from NZ Golf on the board for you to read, I would encourage you all to download the digital score entry app as the exchanging of physical scorecards should be avoided if possible. There will be no pins on the putting green until level 1. Please remember as a Club our number one priority is health, safety and wellbeing of staff, members, golf participants and community.
Can’t believe I have been here 10 years tomorrow 😊😊😊
Members DO NOT put your rubbish in our Skip Bin by the Clubrooms – you have been spotted – nothing more to say ☹ we have eyes everywhere:😊
Thanks to all those who have entered the above competition. At this stage we have six teams entered & that’s enough to proceed with the competition but ideally we’d like two more teams so we can have an initial round of four matches to kick this off. If you’ve been thinking about entering please do so now. A quick reminder about the competition:
This is a Matchplay competition based on the following structure:
Four-Ball, Better-Ball match play on handicap
Each pair to be one Senior (0-14), one Junior (15-36) based on course handicap.
Players on a handicap of 25 or over must play a maximum handicap of 24 in this event.
Matches are to be played from tees of the day, with participants using the correct course handicap for those tees.
Other than the final Matches can be held on any day acceptable to the respective pairs up to & including the play by date.
Because of the disruption caused by the recent lockdown we’ve had to amend the play-by dates for the initial rounds & also push back the date for the final. In doing this we’ve also had to be mindful of other competitions coming up. The revised dates are as follows:
First round – play by 29/9/21
Second round / semi- finals – play by 17/10/21
Final – 31/10/21
Apologies to those who have already entered if these date changes create an issue. Once we have finalised entries we’ll make the first round draw & advise accordingly.
