Division 1 did not have a happy day on Saturday playing Interclub at Titahi Bay losing 12.5 to 2.5. Dom had his first loss of the season whilst Dave Render was player of the day with a 3/1 win, team of the day was Kayne Martin and Luke Holford with a 1 up win with an eagle on the par 4 – 18th to get the win. They will certainly look forward to playing at home this Saturday after 3 away games,
Division 6 won 8 ½ – 6 ½ , Owen Frost was player of the day whilst Allan Fayen lost his first game in 2 years. Peter Gallen lost his game for division 3 , but was excited with his two, he managed to putt a 60 foot – yeh right!! It was probably a 40 foot putt.
Diplomats play Te Marua on Friday the 20th March at 12 – there is a registration form on the notice board, this is normally a great afternoon of golf, Diplomats supply the prizes and light snack afterwards. It would be great to have good numbers for this tournament.
