Afternoon everyone,

We are WINNERS!!!

Our Interclub teams did amazing in the weekend, Division 2 had another fantastic win away at Karori winning 9.5 to 5.5, Division 3 also has a superb game winning away at Trentham 10.5 to 4.5. Player of the day was Kayne Martin winning 8 & 7, shooting 71 and team of the day was Kayne and Luke winning their 4 ball 7 & 6. Big ups to Allan Old coming up from Division 6 and filling in for them, plus the bonus was getting the win. Big Blue this week went to Steven Dearns, who of course has to have it hanging from his golf bag for the week. (I didn’t see it Thursday when he played golf) Division 6 bet Manor Park at home 9 to 6, Division 9 slaughtered Miramar at home 12.5 to 2.5. The team won all 5 of the 4 ball matches. Biggest individual winners were Mel Phillips (6/4) and Jayden Wellington (5/3). The team is sitting 2nd equal after round 3.

It was a very tough match on Saturday for the Ladies MAT round 3, they were very fortunate to come away with a win 6.5 to 5.5 against Shandon who are playing some great golf. Lucky we had some players that excelled in their game like Ange Walsh who has been on fire since winning at the Masters chalking up her third win from three starts, Kim and Theresa also remain unbeaten in singles this season. Player of the day was Kim Abrahams, having a good win 5/3 and combining with Dale Fayen to win their fourball as well. The Ladies have a bye in their next round, they play again on 16th March at Judgeford. Awesome result teams!!!!

Congratulations to Steve Dearns who got a hole in ONE on #13 at Kapiti during his first game of Interclub this year – that’s 2 now in 3 months.
