HAPPY NEW YEAR ! WELCOME TO 2019 !

Congratulations to everyone involved in running the 2018 Te Marua Masters. By all accounts, another successful tournament with some excellent scoring and close competition. Great to see.

This year’s tournament ended with only 2 shots separating the winner in the Men’s Senior and only 5 shots over the top 7 placings. A similar story in the Intermediates and Juniors with winners making it by only 1 shot and only half-dozen or so shots across the first 10 places.

The Women’s competition was a little different with the winners separated by 3 shots in the Silver Division and ….believe it or not, an amazing 13 shots in the Bronze Division.

Great to see some of the Wellington region’s top golfers participating in our tournament which is the 1st Round of the WGI 2019 Order of Merit competition. We wish them luck for their 2019 season.

Special congratulations must go to our own Ange Walsh and Denis Kenealy, 2018 Te Marua Masters Champions in the Women’s Bronze and Men’s Junior Divisions respectively. Fantastic result !
