Morning everyone, showers off and on at the moment, windy up here today, excess water on the bottom nine, so playing only top nine. NO CARTS TODAY. I’m sorry for any inconvenience but compared to a lot of courses in Upper and Lower Hutt we have been very fortunate to still play golf, whereas others have been closed.

Green-keepers have set a new course record (and they don’t even play golf) they have not been on the greens to mow and etc for 14 days – so it just shows how much rain we have been getting lately. They have assured me that they have not been idle playing cards or darts, they have been sifting soil during this down time in their leaking shed (maybe another fund raising venture to be organized for a roof) I might have to sneak over there today to get a picture of them.

Please remember to go on to our Te Marua Facebook page to like and share.

Well wasn’t that an awesome Hurricanes game win against the Crusaders, Sam Whitelock gets quite shitty when he is losing – Loved the game – can’t wait for this Saturday. Really can’t understand how the lions take top position when they have not even faced any NZ teams, and again this weekend they just play the sharks again.

Winner of the $50.00 was Kerry Baines. – congratulations

Winner of the Roaring Forties on Saturday was Nigel Messenger with number 12 – $100, either side of that was Mary Penrose 11, Jose Cooper 13 $50.00 each – congratulations – Good Luck to you all this week. Remember everyone just bring in the cash for your number this weekend.
