Nice and warm up here today, cloudy, no wind or rain.
CORING will be done on Monday, the greens have not been mowed since Tuesday due to the rain over the past days, they will be mowed again on Sunday morning.
Next week the office/shop will have varied hours, due to the fact we do not have much foot traffic the week of coring. Monday and Tuesday it will be normal hours, Wednesday and Thursday depending on the work load I hope to close round lunch time. Friday the office/shop will be closed. The weekend it will be normal hours.
Please remember the clubrooms will be closed Saturday and Sunday – As previous years the clubrooms is always closed the week of coring for maintenance, even though the date of coring was changed, it was impossible to change the clubroom maintenance due to the fact Maree and Graeme had booked to go away, plus staff had planned leave around the maintenance schedule. Sorry for any inconvenience to members.
You will notice when you come up for a game that the concrete has been done in the driveway, plus we now have a another cart shed, I have to thank Wayne Scaife for organizing and doing the concrete for us, Peter Stone for helping with the concrete and preparation work for the shed, John Dillon for digging the concrete area, Denise Grover and Nigel Messenger for digging holes and arranging preparation and placement of the shed, Chris Brooks and to anyone else that helped but I haven’t mentioned. Congratulations also to all Roaring Forties members that contributed towards our fundraiser to pay for it all. You are all dam AWESOME!!!!!
