The BLOB – 19th August 2016

Morning everyone,

Well what a week!! I swear I have come to work for a rest, it’s pretty hard getting up for all New Zealand events live to watch in the Olympics but pretty awesome as the same time, last night was just wonderful with another tally of medals. For a small country we are pretty damn good!!!!  Loved watching Lydia Ko the last couple of nights also, Inbee Park (KOR) is playing awesome and hot on her tail is Stacy Lewis (USA), then Charley Hull (GB,) Lydia is seven shots behind the leader, so she will have a challenge over the next two rounds, hopefully her putting will improve to get her in medal contention.

Winner of the $50.00 was John Kane.

Winner of the Roaring Forties this week was Steve Dearns “28” $100, Rob McIntrye “27” $50.00, Murray Quinn “29” $50.00 – congratulation to you all – Good Luck for this Saturday.

Just letting you know the Barbeque Tables are being assembled now, so should be here this month.  I am still waiting for a quote on getting the concrete out the front fixed, Dave Sully had a chat to the contractor explaining what needs to be done, so hopefully the quote will be affordable.  I will keep you updated.

A big Thank You to Dennis Grover and Bob Dry for making several NO CART signs up for Dave Sully to display around the course.  You are AWESOME.

A big Thank You to Dave Anderson who laid tiles upstairs at the entrance to the balcony overlooking the putting green on Friday in the Clubrooms.  You too are AWESOME.
